Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton is the wife of 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton. She was first Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001. She was also the 67th United States Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013, serving under President Barack Obama and previously a U.S. Senator from New York from 2001 to 2009.
Hillary Clinton was born on October 26, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to Hugh Ellsworth Rodham (1911 - 1993) and Dorothy Emma Howell (1919 - 2011). Hillary Clinton has two younger brothers, Hugh and Tony.
She was the first student commencement speaker at Wellesley College in 1969. She then earned a JD from Yale Law School in 1973. She married Bill Clinton in 1975, and they have one daughter Chelsea Clinton.
