Queen Maxima












Queen Maxima is the wife of King Willem-Alexander. She was born on 17 May 1971 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She became Dutch Queen on 30 April 2013. She is the daughter of Jorge Zorreguieta  and his second wife, Maria del Carmen Cerruti Carricart. She has two brothers, a sister and three half-sisters by her father's first wife, Marta Lopez Gil.


Queen Maxima studied at Northlands School in Argentina and worked as an investment banker before graduating with a degree in Economics from the Universidad Catolica Argentina in 1995. She subsequently worked for large international finance companies in Argentina, New York and Brussels.


Queen Maxima met King Willem-Alexander, who was at the time the Prince of Orange, in April 1999 in Seville Spain, during the Seville Spring Fair. The couple announced their engagement on 30 March 2001. Queen Maxima was granted Dutch citizenship by Royal Decree  on 17 May 2001 and now has dual citizenship; Argentine and Dutch.


Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander were married on 2 February 2002 in a civil ceremony in the Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam, which was then followed by a religious ceremony at Amsterdam's Nieuwe Kerk.



The couple has three daughters:
  • The Princess of Orange Catharina - Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria born 7 December 2003
  • Princess Alexia Juliana Marcela Laurentien of the Netherlands born 26 June 2005
  • Princess Ariane Willhelmina Maxima Ines of the Netherlands, born April 2007

Cilia Flores









Cilia Flores is the First Lady of Venezuela, a lawyer and politician. She is married to Nicolas Maduro, President of Venezuela. Cilia Flores was born on January 1, 1953.

Cilia Flores replaced her husband Maduro as Speaker of the Assembly in August 2006, when he was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs; she was the first woman to serve as president of the National Assembly from 2006 to 2011.

Lyudmila Putina










Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Putina  is the ex-wife of the Russian President and former Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. She was born on 6 January 1958 in Kaliningrad, Soviet Union to Alexander Avramovich Shkrebneva and Catherine Tikhonovna Shkrebvena. She was educated as a linguist. In 1986, Lyudmila Putina graduated from the branch of Spanish language and philology of the Department of Philology of Leningrad State University.

In her early years she was a flight attendant for the Kaliningrad branch of Aeroflot. 

From 1990 to 1994 she taught German at he Department of Philology Leningrad State University.

Lyudmila Putina married President Vladimir Putin on 28 July 1983. The couple had two daughters, Maria born 1985 and Yekaterina (Katja) born in 1986 in Dresden, East Germany.

On 6 June 2013, Lyudmila Putina and her husband publicly announced termination of their marriage based on a mutual decision.

Queen Mathilde of Belgium









Mathilde is the Queen of the Belgians as the wife of King Philippe, who ascended the throne following the abdication of his father, King Albert II, on 21 July 2013.

She is the first Belgian-born Queen Consort of the Belgians.

Queen Mathilde was born Jonkvrouw Mathilde d'Udekem d'Acoz in Uccle on 20 January 1973.

She married King Philippe who was then the Prince of Belgium, the Duke of Brabant on 4 December 1999 in Brussels, Belgium. The couple have four children: Princess Elisabeth Therese Marie Helene, Duchess of Brabant, born 25 October 2001; Prince Gabriel Baudouin Charles Marie, born 20 August 2003, Prince Emmanuel Leopold Guillaume Francois Marie, born 4 October 2005 and Princess Eleonore Fabiola Victoria Anne Marie, born 16 April 2008. 

Queen Mathilde attended Secondary School at the Institut de la Vierge Fidele in Brussels. She then studied speech therapy at the Institut Libre Marie Haps in Brussels from 1991 to 1994 and earned a diploma with high honors. 

Queen Mathilde then worked as a speech therapist in her own practice in Brussels from 1995 to 1999. She also studied psychology at the Universite Catholique de Louvain and earned a master's degree in psychology with honors.

Queen Mathilde speaks French, Dutch, English and Italian.
