Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama is the wife of the 44th and current President of the United States, Barack Obama. Michelle Obama is the first African-American First Lady of the United States. She is an American Lawyer and writer. Michelle attended Princeton University and Harvard Law School before returning to Chicago to work at the Law firm Sidley Austin, where she met her husband President Obama. She is the mother of two daughters Malia and Sasha.
Michelle Obama was born on January 17, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, to Fraser Robinson III, a city water plant employee and Democratic precinct captain and Marian, a secretary at Spiegel's catalog store. She attended Whitney Young High School, Chicago's first magnet high school, where she was a classmate of Jesse Jackson's daughter Santita.
