Dr. Christine Kaseba - Sata is the current first lady of Zambia, who has held the office since 23 September 2011. She was born in 1963. Dr. Christine Kaseba - Sata is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist she has been working at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka for more than 25 years. Apart from clinical work, Dr. Christine Kaseba - Sata has also been lecturing at the only school of Medicine in Zambia for the past 15 years.
Dr. Christine Kaseba graduated with Bachelor of Science in human Biology (BSc. Hb) in 1981 from University of Zambia. She studied medicine at the University of Zambia and graduated with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 1984. She obtained Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland in 1988. She also has Ancillary education/professional certificates in Population Leadership, Adolescent health, Advocacy and Strategic Management.
